At least 5 times a day I'm playing, and somebody doesn't like the song and they purposely fail so they can play their song they picked. It's sucha piss off, it's understandable if its the Frampton song, but come on...just spend 4-5 minutes of your life making someone else happy.

I never had that happen to me. Many times when I beat someone they are actually really good about it and often send me friend requests.
Of course, there's also the occurence when someone will beat me, but I still don't give up. I just keep on trying my best, because as long as I'm satisfied with MY OWN performance, that's all that matters when I'm playing online.
Maybe try a different type of online match. |

It's always when playing just regular quickplay
I usually play Career cuz people can't do that lol, but sometimes I wanna play some DLC and if someone doesn't like the song they'll purposely fail to go on.
But yea its not a problem with like a face off or anything, just quickplay |

If somebody acts like that I'd just back out of the match all together and go find somebody worth playing with..
But I usually don't care about the song personally. I hate having to pick the song, actually.. Just because I worry I might pick something the other person hates ..
But yeah.. Online play doesn't even seem to be worth much anymore.. I wish it was more organized to better find players in your skill range, rather than finding somebody who's going to play on easy >.>'... It's so sketch that when I DO find somebody decent, I end up playing a ton of songs with them _________________

It's just how some people are. It's like that guy who refuses to let someone else play guitar, even if they picked the song, or who quits if he misses or ends up with people who are significantly worse than himself. It pisses me off too. But if you want to get rid of that problem, post in here. I can play with you if you want, I never do that _________________

Sadly, this is how online play works sometimes. I've never personally have that happen in my time online. And I'm the sort of person that sticks it out to the end. Even if I sucked at the song, all you can say is you tried.
But randabanding, regardless of game, is VERY hit and miss. You will either find someone who's decent, someone who exceeds your skill level (in your eyes) or someone who completely blows. _________________

I personally don't like online play, people usually just give up or quit when I'm playing. Ever since the Virtuoso pack came out I haven't played online. I was about to FC For The Love Of God and some douche quit right before the end because he didn't want to lose. That ended online multiplayer for me. As for multiplayer in general, I like it if I am playing with someone with the same skill level as me. For instance, when I play with Exilelord, I enjoy it. Other than that I would rather play single player _________________

just finding people on PS3 is something hard. and most of the time, they quit within the first 5 songs. it totally suck.
i wish people would play longer or at least do not quit in the middle of a song. finish the damn song then quit after it. this way it wouldnt ruins the online play. _________________

Don't rub it in.
Similar story to deadhead, some ass ruined my Raining Blood FC by quitting AFTER the last trill. _________________

Someone picked that long, boring, and retarded frampton song in a pfo online... so I msg'd him some hate mail and quit out. What kind of retard picks a 14 minute song that sounds like ass for a pfo?? O_O
Also, when I'm on drums and everyone is like 'OMG BRIANSTORM' yeah well... no <_< and I'm not really failing on purpose.. I'd have failed anyway.. just 10 seconds later -_-;; _________________

I wouldn't mind playing Do You Feel Like We Do in a pro faceoff, as long as I wasn't in any sort of hurry, and we weren't on drums or bass.
GH3's online these days feels so much better than today's GH5 online play. If you go on GH3 now, hardly anyone quits, unless you deliberately pick TTFAF or DWDTG.
GH5, however, people will quit for anything. Wrong game type, wrong song, under-skilled... I love playing online in Rockfest because some of the game modes are really fun, even when you don't win every song. In fact, I'll even go as far to say that I like the competition, I like online being challenging, and not just owning everybody who joins, thus I'll always stick through to the end unless I'm forced to stop playing by other circumstances, in which case I'll at least wait till the song ends.
What's more annoying is Career online play. People quitting out because you took more than fifteen seconds to choose a song. Then when they quit, another person quits because they wanted a four player band. Then the final person quits because they don't like two-player games. _________________

this is the type of thing we're talking about.
Although I wouldn't pick it if people were on any instrument but guitar (unless they wanted to), I enjoy playing/listening to the song greatly, and I know plenty of other people do. I'm sorry that some people enjoy that "long boring and retarded frampton song" but acting the way you say you did gets someone a lot of negative feedback on my watch. |

Some guy picked Do You Feel Like We Do in a pfo. About 3 or 4 minutes in I needed to take a dump so I gave the guitar to my little sister. With about 2 minutes left in the song I finished my business and my sister was yelling at me cause he was catching up. He was 30k behind and then I FCed the rest of the song to win by about 100k. Good times... |

Usually, the only time I quit any multiplayer game mid-song is because I mess up HS. _________________
