Just open up Pandora on my iPod, set it to my rock station (not too heavy, but not classic either) |

I like to sleep to Dragonforce ¯\(°_o)/¯. I dunno why that is, I just like fast-paced music even before bed. _________________

Just put on death metal and you'll be under like that. |
Probably not impossible, but extreme metal is very stimulating, oftentimes very fast and such, which will more than likely just get you excited. |
i will have to disagree with you, its more a question of taste and ATM feeling. i used to sleep on whatever was in the cd player back in the day. death metal, metal, rock, punk, whatever it was.
i guess if you're tired enough, you dont really care of what you're listening or not. _________________

Oh would you look at that, that actually sounds relaxing. Seriously, I can't imagine myself falling asleep to anything fast-paced or heavy, I don't know how you guys do it. I share a room with my older brother though, and he's usually up late listening to his iTunes and talking to his friends on Facebook. So I guess I fall asleep best to Demi Lovato, Meg & Dia, Yeah Yeah Yeahs and Lady Gaga. |

Well it works for these people obviously.
Me? I don't usually play songs to help me sleep, but if I feel like it, I'd play Down III: Over The Under. It sounds awesome, has a nice relaxing tone to drift off to... For me anyway. :P _________________

There's a topic like this at Buckethead.tk.
I choose Buckethead - Colma, Electric tears, most of the songs from A Real Diamond in the Rough, and I Love my Parents from Giant Robot. _________________

I mostly fall asleep to classical music (not to say that classical is boring, but that it's relaxing), but other than that, My 2 songs are:
Metallica-Nothing Else Matters
Buckethead-Soothsayer
Also, I can't believe that some of you people listen to death metal to go to sleep. As someone else stated, that would get me more energized than anything. Plus, I don't think I could easily go to sleep with my Ipod giving me songs with these lyrics. _________________

well me, i jam whatever im feeling at the moment. i love jamming death metal when i go to sleep, its very calming for me. and its nice not to be able to understand the lyrics once and a while, cause then you cant think along to it lol.to bad i know all the lyrics to all my death metal music. but anyway, if im in a more mellow mood ill jam some softer stuff like the foo or some other alternative stuff, creed, collective soul, you name it. that good jams. _________________
