Nice to see you in league Evermar (though I won't enjoy squeezing against you). Good luck this season man. Hope you do well. |

and the squeezes on Unforgiven are pretty rough, probably due to the low BPM of the song.
Blood and Thunder is my fav song on disc, so ill have fun with that, and One...yeah. |
I missed a good 24 points on The Unforgiven so you're in the clear
I'm not in, so gogo steal my firsts! _________________

Curse you admins for organising the leagues to be at the same time as the world cup *shakes fist angrily* |

This is probably the most stressful week of songs I've ever seen. _________________

How do you get good whammy out of the holds with notes like in One and the last act of Albatross? I can't seem to get enough whenever I try. Usually it's like 1/2 - 1 beat that I'm missing, which is a significant amount. Anyone have any tips/tricks. _________________

For the last star power phrase in Albatross, try hitting the blue notes slightly late, and the orange notes slightly early. Also, finding a good rhythm to your whammy is key for sections like these, so that you can just whammy at a constant pace the whole time. If you feel like you have to pause slightly to make sure you don't miss the note, then you will probably lose out on some whammy.
In One, abuse the timing window for the 2 yellow strums in a row and downstrum both of them, hitting the first one early and the second one late, so that you can keep your rhythm with the whammy. _________________

my schedule isnt letting me play as much as I had hoped to =/
im probably gonna drop out of the GH5 league, and just stick with this one. Ive gotten a score for Albatross im content with, and ive gotten the same score on Unforgiven 3 times in a row, so im kinda sick of playing it >.<
tomorrow and Sat i'll work on Blood and Thunder and One, hopefully i can produce good scores.
and im not good enough to take your firsts Pas <.< lol
Best of luck to you as well Nicky, brings back memories of the World Tour league^^ I sorta wish paths werent out though, coming up with paths on your own brought about an extra sense of skill in the league and made outcomes uncertain imo. _________________

I couldn't agree more man. Most of the paths for GH:M have been worked out though there may be a tweak or two out there to be found. It’s definitely worth looking into before committing to a specific path.
I'm done with 3 of the 4 songs this week (still have One to do) and am pretty happy with my scores. They aren't the best out the for sure but I gave it my best with my limited time. Hopefully they are good enough to put me in the top division. |

I'm gonna submit the scores I have for the songs now. I might not be able to work on them anymore this week. I'm pleased with 2 of em, the other 2 are meh. 3 of them were improvments from my existing scores, and the last one was only ticks behind. Good luck to everyone again. _________________

Well, Round 1's pick of songs were pretty good! I liked having 2 guest acts and 2 Metallica songs. Too bad that One was one of them...gotta love the Fast Solo :p
Round 2 should be fun, since it's all Metallica songs this time...should be interesting to see how I can do on Dyer's Eve, though. That song is REALLY hard. _________________
